New Spring Nutrition will, from time to time, receive and store personal information you enter onto our website and client management software, provided to us directly or given to us in other forms, including through client intake forms and during appointments. When you complete our client intake form, you provide consent for New Spring Nutrition to access and use your personal information so we can provide you with the best possible advice. We may receive personal information from third parties. If we do, we will protect it as set out in this Privacy Policy.

How and where we store your personal data

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate technical, procedural and security measures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

  • We use GDPR compliant video conferencing software programs (Zoom or Practice Better) to carry out dietetic consultations remotely.

  • Laptops are password protected.

  • Documents containing personal data are password protected.

  • Electronic records are stored using an electronic GDPR compliant system (Practice Better)

Any service providers that are used to store and process information related to carrying out our dietetic services all have robust security measures in place and are GDPR compliant.

If you are located outside United Kingdom and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United Kingdom and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Records made by New Spring Nutrition relating to the care of a client, will be stored for eight years (in line with British Dietetic Association Guidance for Record and Record Keeping). We may also be under an obligation to store your Personal Data for longer in accordance with our professional indemnity insurers requirements.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share or disclose your personal information to third parties, except as described in this Policy or with your consent. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers to assist us in providing our services, such as scheduling appointments or sending emails, or to other health professionals looking after your care. These service providers are contractually bound to use your personal information only for the purpose of providing the services we request.

 We may from time to time need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, warrant, in the course of a legal proceeding, in response to a law enforcement agency request, or to protect the safety, property, or rights of us or others.

If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer to the extent permissible at law our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. In this circumstance, the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this privacy policy, be permitted to use the data for the purposes for which it was originally supplied to us. We may also need to disclose data to a prospective purchaser of our business or any part of it. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances. Practice Better is an electronic practice management tool which stores health records, appointment information, and communication between practitioners and clients.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service.
